We are always keen to welcome new members of all levels of
experience to our club. So if you are interested in pursuing your
photography in the company of other like-minded, friendly individuals why
not drop in and see what we get up to. We welcome new members at any
of our scheduled meetings. You will not be under any pressure to join.
Indeed we encourage potential new members to wait until their second meeting
before joining, so there is nothing to lose.
As the name suggests, our camera club is located in the
town of East Kilbride, about 10 miles to the south east of Glasgow in central
Scotland. Members meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evenings between September and May in:-
The Church of Christ
Scholar's Gate
Whitehills
East Kilbride G75 9JL

The club is managed by a committee
elected from and by the membership and is affiliated to the Glasgow and District
Photographic Union (GDPU), The Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF) and the Photographic
Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).
Membership is open to all who have an interest in
photography and its many facets, and is not restricted to those living in East Kilbride.
We have a varied program of competitions, lectures and workshops to cover most
photographic interests, including digital imaging. The primary aim of the club is that
everyone should enjoy photography, whatever their level of involvement or expertise.
We are not an equipment-focussed club, so new members
who perhaps do not have a camera yet or have relatively simple or inexpensive equipment
will be assured of a warm welcome and will not feel out of place.
